A Sicilian Restaurant in Fitzrovia, London

On Charlotte Street in Fitzrovia, Norma brings the cooking and hospitality of Sicily to the heart of London.

Named after Vincenzo Bellini’s celebrated opera, our restaurant takes its inspiration from an island shaped by centuries of Arab, Norman and Italian influence. That rich history runs through everything we do, from the flavours on the plate to the warmth with which every guest is welcomed.

Why Sicily?

Sicily has always been a meeting point. Sitting at the heart of the Mediterranean, its cooking reflects centuries of history, where Italian traditions sit alongside Arab, North African and Spanish influences. The result is a cuisine unlike anywhere else in Italy.

At Norma, we celebrate that richness through seasonal cooking that respects tradition without standing still. You’ll find handmade pasta, beautiful seafood, vibrant vegetables, citrus, pistachios, almonds and fragrant herbs sitting alongside carefully selected wines and cocktails that reflect the island’s character.

Many of our dishes are made to be shared, not because it’s a trend, but because that’s how meals are enjoyed across Sicily — generously, leisurely and always together.

Cooking with the Seasons

Our menus change with the seasons, guided by exceptional ingredients rather than fixed recipes.

We work with carefully sourced British produce alongside the unmistakable flavours of Sicily to create dishes that feel both familiar and distinctive. Every plate is thoughtfully prepared, allowing the ingredients to take centre stage while celebrating the bold, sun-soaked cooking of the Mediterranean.

Whether you’re discovering Sicilian cuisine for the first time or returning to flavours you already know and love, our menus are designed to be enjoyed slowly, with good company and great wine.

A Sicilian Townhouse

Norma occupies a handsome Georgian townhouse on Charlotte Street, with spaces that each have their own atmosphere.

The ground floor dining room sits beneath a striking glass atrium, while upstairs you’ll find an elegant cocktail bar and dining room, ideal for lingering over an aperitivo or settling in for the evening. Our private dining room offers an intimate setting for celebrations, business dinners and family occasions, while the terrace brings a little of Sicily outdoors during the warmer months.

Whether you’re joining us for a quiet lunch or gathering with friends, every corner of Norma has been designed to feel welcoming, relaxed and effortlessly elegant.

Private Dining & Celebrations

Some occasions deserve a table of their own.

Our private dining room welcomes up to 14 guests, while the first floor can host larger celebrations for up to 26 seated or 40 standing. The ground floor also offers semi-private dining beneath the atrium, creating a memorable setting for birthdays, anniversaries, corporate dinners and special events.

Alongside seasonal Sicilian menus, our team will help create an occasion that feels personal from the moment your guests arrive.

Hospitality, the Sicilian Way

Great restaurants are remembered as much for how they make people feel as for what they serve.

At Norma, our chefs, bartenders and front-of-house team share a simple approach to hospitality: thoughtful, generous and never overcomplicated. Whether it’s recommending the right Sicilian wine, welcoming returning guests or marking a special occasion, every detail is guided by genuine care.

It’s the kind of hospitality that’s second nature in Sicily, and one we’re proud to bring to Fitzrovia every day.

Part of The Stafford Collection

Norma is proud to be part of The Stafford Collection, an independently owned collection of luxury hotels and restaurants recognised for exceptional hospitality and service.

While every property has its own identity, they share the same belief that true luxury lies in thoughtful details, authentic experiences and making every guest feel completely at ease.

We Look Forward to Welcoming You

Whether you’re joining us for lunch, dinner, Saturday brunch, cocktails or private dining, you’ll find a restaurant that celebrates Sicily with confidence and warmth.

Simple in its approach, generous in its spirit and unmistakably Sicilian.
